Chess Wizards is so popular with kids because of our unique structure. First, we let kids get the wiggles and giggles out with 10 minutes of free play and review of past taught topics. We then go right into the week's lessons. We separate students based on skill levels and teach different lessons best suited to their individual needs. All lessons have an activity and homework to accompany them and we have well over 80 different lessons to keep challenging our little wizards! Chess has been taught for thousands of years because of its emphasis on logic, tactics and sportsmanship. Let us coach your kids to a higher level of education!

This clinic focuses on the basic fundamentals beginning with dribbling, shooting, passing and catching as well as defense. Using age appropriate equipment, this class enables your child to learn at their own pace while having a blast! Each class will be structured with stretching, learning a new skill, rule of the day, skill game and finally a fun filled game for all to enjoy. Sneakers required.

Come join us as we transform the field at 123 Holliston Street into a magical holiday stroll! Enjoy festive decorations celebrating all the December holidays and take in the lights, music, and community spirit. On Tuesday, December 16, we’ll be teaming up with the Medway Police Department for their Pursuit of Presents event — and pictures with Santa will be available! This is a walking event, and preregistration is required. All proceeds will support our Summer Programs Scholarship Fund.Anzios Food Truck will be on site all three nights to grab dinner! If you have holiday decorations you’d like to donate, we’d be happy to take them off your hands! Please reach out to the Parks and Recreation Department at ParksandRec@medwayma.gov. It’s the most magical time of the year — come stroll with us! Please note: Children under two and individuals over the age of 65 are admitted free of charge. Please get in touch with the office for assistance with registration.

Join us for this fun filled multi-sport program! Each week will focus on one of the highlighted sports. In dodgeball we will play multiple versions of this very popular cooperative team game. Soft coated dodgeballs are used to ensure games remain safe and fun for all. During Mini-Golf participants will learn and practice putting fundamentals as well as tap into their creative side while designing and playing the holes they have created. For Floor Hockey we will practice key concepts of passing, shooting, defense, stick handling in a safe, non-checking environment. Skyhawks will provide all the equipment. Please wear sneakers and bring water.

Susan Siegel, lead Licensed Wildlife Rehabber and founder of Return2Wild will discuss how to identify an animal in need, who to call for help, and various types of species that we care for Return2Wild's mission is to rescue and rehabilitate sick,    injured, and orphaned wildlife with the goal of returning healthy animals back to their natural habitats. There will be no shortage of fun in this program, and we provide all the necessary supplies, so join the excitement today!Dodgeball: This program will introduce children to the nearly endless different styles of dodgeball. We will be teaching Dr. Dodgeball, Prize Ball, Elimination, Army, Ring of Fire, and many more… Each week will be a new adventure of team, individual, or tournament dodgeball. Sports cards will also be given out at the end of each program, with the opportunity to earn special prizes for play and behavior. Time to find the next Ultimate Dodgeball Player! Registration includes pizza and it will between the two programs.
