Have you ever wanted to learn how to fish? Now’s your chance, let the MassWildlife Angler Education Program be your guide. We’ll have equipment on hand for use, as well as terminal tackle, and live bait. You’ll learn the basics, from casting out, to baiting up, and the best part - you’ll actually be able to fish. So come try your hand at this great pastime, guaranteed to catch some fun! Pre-registration is required. Please note: This family friendly program is intended for beginners.

Skyhawks provides a wide variety of fun, safe and positive programs that emphasize critical lessons in sports and life, such as teamwork, respect and sportsmanship. Our programs are designed to give each child a positive introduction into sports while fostering a lifelong love for an active, healthy lifestyle. For this program, our patient and knowledgeable staff use a variety of skill-building games and activities to give each athlete a complete understanding and overview of many different popular sports and games. Sports and games include dodgeball, capture the flag, flag football, ultimate frisbee, flag rugby, kickball, wiffle ball, team handball and many more. Participants should bring multiple water bottles, two snacks, lunch, sunscreen and wear appropriate athletic attire. Every child receives an award certificate and Skyhawks t-shirt.

9:30 AM - 10:15 AM    Toddler & Me Yoga in the Park - Toddler and Me Yoga - Summer 2025
Bring your little one(s) and come join Katie from Sprouting Tree Yoga for this fun, outdoor, interactive, skill-building class! Together we will move, breathe, play, and connect. We will explore yoga concepts  through engaging songs, games, and activities. Expect to connect and bond with your little one while you learn toddler approved breathing exercises and relaxation techniques you can use both on and off of the mat. This series is appropriate for caregivers and little ones ages 2-4 (ish). Mats will be provided but please feel free to bring your own if you prefer. A towel is suggested as well in case there is any moisture on the grass.The fee includes registration for one parent and one child. If you would like to register additional children, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department, and we will be happy to assist you in adding them.
