12:00 PM - 1:00 PM    Marble Fun Run and Nerf Battlegrounds - Marble Fun Run - Sept 14 - 12:00pm
Marble Fun Run:A Marble Machine is a creative ball-run contraption, made from familiar materials, designed to send a rolling marble through tubes and funnels, across tracks and bumpers, and into a catch at the end! Sure, Marble Runs are a ton of fun to make and to use, but they also make great engineering challenges for kids, they can be a fantastic tool for teaching children how to work collaboratively with their classmates and peers, and they allow children to explore problem solving in a fun and interactive way. We will supply all Marble Run sets for classes, but there will also be some time for free building during our classes if your child wants to bring in their own Marble Run set. We will also have some creative building challenges using household items, so your child may ask for extra materials like toilet paper rolls, pool noodles, or cardboard. We accept most material donations for class, but do not feel obligated to contribute! Nerf Battlegrounds: Come join the Sports Zone Lieutenants as we test our individual and team effectiveness in battle! This awesome program puts a fresh spin on traditional games like capture the flag, while also allowing children to get great exercise, learn some strategic planning skills, and make new friends. There will be no shortage of fun in this program, and we provide all the necessary supplies, so join the excitement today! Registration includes pizza and it served 1:00-1:30pm between the two programs.
