This recreational flag football league is open to children who wish to learn fundamentals, skills, and enjoyment of football without the contact. This fun, recreational league is open to all levels and will enhance understanding, build on skills, positioning, ball handling, passing/receiving, and running.
Children will be placed on teams based on grade. Each team will meet once a week to have a short practice before playing their games. This program will NOT run over Memorial Day Weekend.
Team Selection
To achieve balanced competition, REC will place athletes on teams. Unfortunately, Recreation will not honor requests for this program, including coaching requests. Siblings will be placed together if they are in the appropriate age group and coaches will be placed with their child(ren).
Equipment
All registered participants will receive a t-shirt and a mouth guard to keep. Mouth guards are mandatory. Flags will be provided.
Divisions – Co-Ed
K-1 grade – 4-5PM
2nd – 3rd grade– 5-6PM
4th – 5th grade – 6-7PM
6th – 8th grade – 7-8PM
