Medway Community Farm is introducing an all-new program all about the winter wonders that can be found outdoors! Participants will explore the farmland and woods to learn about how plants and animals survive in the winter, play in the snow (weather permitting), grow mini gardens in the greenhouses, build campfires, and warm up inside with plenty of tea & hot cocoa while making winter-themed crafts. Join us for three days during February Vacation week for a fun, cozy and unique winter experience!

Medway Community Farm is located at 50 Winthrop Street.

About Medway Community Farm:
Medway Community Farm is a registered 501(c)3 charity located in Medway, Massachusetts.

Our mission is to maintain a place that enhances Medway’s rural character, fosters community spirit and encourages “learning from the land” by providing and increasing access to locally grown food, volunteer experiences, educational programming, and public events.

Our Story:
Medway Community Farm (MCF) was founded through grassroots efforts in 2009 with the goal of stewarding land for agricultural and educational purposes. With the support of our community, volunteers, board, and staff, the Farm now occupies 18 acres of growing fields, conservation land, walking trails, and wooded areas.

Through sustainable and organic growing practices, our fields yield fresh vegetables, herbs, and flowers that we provide to Members through a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model as well as to retail customers online, in the Farm Store, and at local Farmers Markets. We are committed to building food access in our area by participating in SNAP & HIP programs, and by donating a portion of the produce we grow to the food pantries at Medway Village Church and Mahan Circle, as well as Medway House Family Shelter.

MCF strives to create a gathering place dedicated to a shared passion for nature, land stewardship, and organic farming by offering meaningful hands-on educational programs and on-farm community events that cater to all ages. Visitors are encouraged to stop by and walk the property using farm roads and walking trails. We also welcome you to reach out and schedule a visit with us.
