Yin is a style of yoga that involves long holds in various seated and reclined poses. It targets the deep connectible tissue, focusing on stressing the tissue to restore its length and strength for enhanced stability & flexibility. During the stillness of the practice, meditation techniques are used to quiet the mind. You can expect to leave class feeling greater ease of motion and more relaxed. Many students find improved sleep after yin yoga.
Bring a yoga mat & blocks, yoga strap, bolster and blankets are optional.

Sheila has been practicing yoga since 2012 and has made a consistent yoga practice the cornerstone of her health.
