Candlelight Yin Yoga

In Yin Yoga, poses are held with a soft balance of stress and ease for 3-5 minutes.
The aim is to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility as the poses stretch and exercise the bone and joint areas. It also helps us to regulate the body's flow of energy. This class is beneficial for those with strain or injury. Please inform your instructor if you have such issues. In a candlelit room, the experience of Yin is even more balancing and relaxing. USMMA is located at 316 Hartford Ave. in Bellingham.

Located in Bellingham, Massachusetts, USMMA incorporates Total Body Wellness into every aspect of its curriculum. We place tremendous emphasis on developing the mind and spirit in all of our classes, to show our members that good health is a way of life. This is accomplished through the study of Yoga, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts, with an ever-present focus on practicing good health and habits to ensure a long and fulfilling life.

About Instructor Shauna Jean:
Shauna has practice different forms of yoga for over 20 years. She has acquired two, 200hr Teacher training certifications.Shauna's trainings include 200 hr Body Matrix Teacher Training with Victoria Haffer and Wild Wisdom Yoga Teacher Training with Jessie Dwiggins. Her extended training includes a 4 day workshop with Josh Summers and Yin/Meditation/Meridians. Shauna works as a Behavior Analyst and Special educator.
