Up, Up & Away! and Energy Explorers - February Vacation

Up, Up & Away! Take off into the stratosphere where we’ll examine things that go up! Create blast off rockets, planes, and   copters that use different methods to reach the skies. Take in a birds-eye view to learn about our feathered friends. Experiment with the four forces of flight and test how gravity brings everything back to Earth.

Energy Explorer—Energy is everywhere and it can't be created or destroyed! Investigate the wide world of energy and build your own simple circuit as we experiment with electrical energy. Delve into the properties of potential and kinetic energy by making our own balloon cars and catapults. We'll experiment with chemical  energy and concoct our own secret recipes. Energizing fun!

Mission
We provide high quality educational STEAM-based enrichment programs that are always wicked cool for kids.

History
Wicked Cool for Kids was founded in 2007 by Tim Rees and Barb Johnson. We started in September with seven after school programs and now have over 175 classes booked each season. Today we are a leader in the local market due to our unique style of mixing learning and recreation.

Our Approach
Our curriculum is written in-house and challenges kids to investigate their world through science, art, and technology. We encourage our staff to be kid-centered rather than curriculum-centered so that children are always stimulated and on task at their own level and pace.

We add new topics every season so there's always something fresh to offer kids. We have been serving families in New England since 2007 and with the help of our client communities, we've provided brain stimulation for over 10,000 kids since we were founded!
