Bicycle Safety

Sergeant Jeff Watson wants to help make it a safe summer on your bike! This course will talk about safety rules, road rules, and how to control the bicycle. Participants will then ride their bikes through a number of different cone drills. This class is hands on, participants must have own bike, helmet and be able to ride a bike. The type of bike does not matter.

About Sargeant Watson:
Sgt. Watson has been with the Medway Police Department for over 30 years. He is also the safety officer and has been teaching in the schools since 1995. He has taught classes in Character Education, Stanger Danger, Bicycle safety, Drug awareness, Bus Safety as well Halloween Safety. He also owns a company called Police Mountain Biking New England (PMBT NE) and is a nationally certified Mountain Bike instructor.
